Max Roach Quintet, *Max Roach + Four At Newport*, Mercury 1958 pressing on vinyl. The record grades VG media / G sleeve. Side 1 is clean, while side 2 has moderate surface marks that produce minor background noise during quieter passages. The sleeve shows age wear and light discoloration to the front and back, previous owner writing on the front and back cover (spine remains legible), and heavy seam splits: 2–3" along the top edge near the opening and 6" along the bottom edge starting from the opening.
